Sub.  : SENIOR NATIONAL JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS – 2021-22 GUNTUR, A.P.

 Sir/Madam,

I would like to inform you that the Senior National Judo Championships for the year 2021-22 will be held from 4th to 8th May 2022 at Acharya Nagarjuna University, NH-16, Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The rules and regulations, tentative schedule, entry forms of the competitions are attached.

 

JFI will select the probable for the Commonwealth Games 2022, and for the Asian Games 2022 from this Senior National Championship however sanction yet to confirm by SAI.  Final selection will be done by internal trial among the probable & wt. categories may be decided on the basis of highest IJF WRL by selection committee. The following selection criteria will be followed for selecting the probable:

 

1] Must be placed minimum 7th Place of this Senior National Judo Championships 2021-22

2] Must have a valid Passport minimum till April 2023

3] Must pass the Medical & Fitness Test to be conducted by the JFI

4] The selection committee will also decide which weights to send  on the basis of the  World Ranking  of the player/ weight in  IJF list.

5] Decision of Selection Committee will be treated as Final.

 

 

In view of the above it is very important for all the athletes and make sure their valid Passport  ( till April 2023 ) for considering the selection process. Being the part of the same all the States/Departments are mandatorily upload the details ( Photo must be white back-ground with 70% close-up in JPEG Format, Copy of Passport and Aadhar Card ) of their athlete/player with the below Google page before 25th April 2022 to enable to submit the details of probable for the Asian Games 2022 to the Indian Olympic Association immediately after the event:
