Sub. : National Diploma in Officiating ( NDIO – Referee ) Seminar and Examination, Delhi

Sir/Madam,

I am directed by the Hon’ble Administrator JFI, to inform you that the Judo Federation of India ( JFI ) is conducting the National Diploma in Officiating ( NDIO – Referee ) Seminar and Examination from 26th to 31st August 2023 at K.D. Jadhav Indoor Stadium, I.G. Stadium Complex, New Delhi - 110002, in association with Delhi Judo Council. The rules and regulations are as under:

 2] Entry/Registration: 

The name of the participants who are attending the Seminar and Examinations must be send on or before 10th August 2023 through their respective State Judo Association to JFI Email: jfiindia@gmail.com & delhijudocouncil1976@gmail.com

No direct application will be entertained.

3] Minimum Requirements:                                               

1]    Age minimum 22 years for Men & minimum 20 years for Women.

2]    Must be 2nd DAN ( Ni-Dan ) from JFI.

3]    Must have played at National Championships/Federation Cups / All India Police Games /  National Games.

4]   All NIDO Examinees must attend the Seminar.

4] Information:

・  Examinees must bring his / her own Judogi

・  At the Championships, examinees must wear appropriate referee uniform, such as black jacket, gray trousers, neck – tie, white shirt and black socks.

・  Examinees must bring original application form with original signature of the president/General Secretary of the State Judo Association / In-charge of Deptt., together with Two Passport Size Photographs.

5] Method of Examination:           

A] “Pre – Examination” ( 28th August 2023 )

l ] Written Examination

lI]  Basic English conversation (Oral exam)

lII]  Knowledge of Judo techniques (Practical exam for Judo Technique, Examinee must wear Judo-gi)

lV] Refereeing and judging in trial matches (Practical exam for Refereeing)

B] JFI “A” Referee Examination

Refereeing and Judging in Junior National Judo Championships 2022-23. 

6] Registration, Seminar & Examination Fee:

 1.  Registration Fee (JFI):         -- Rs.300/- ( Rupees Three hundred only )

2.   Seminar Fee                        -- Rs.4,500/- ( Rupees four thousand Five hundred only )

3.    Examination Fee                 -- Rs.3,750/- ( Rupees Three thousand Seven hundred and Fifty only)

Note: Those who are re-appearing for NDIO Examination within two years may be paid only Examination Fee

The Fee needs to pay by Demand Draft in favour of JUDO FEDERATION OF INDIA, payable at Delhi

Cash will not be accepted. 

7] Boarding & Lodging:  All Examinees needs to pay the Boarding and Lodging charges, and the booking of Hotel is through the Organizing Committee, i.e  Delhi Judo Council, only ( According to the Delhi Judo Council, they will provide Boarding & Lodging in a good hotel in twin sharing basis, which will cost Rs.2000/- per person for 6 nights, i.e. Rs.12,000/- per person ). Please contact Delhi Judo Council for the booking of Boarding & Lodging at delhijudocouncil1976@gmail.com

You are requested to send the name of participants on or 10th August 2023. No applications will be entertained after the deadline.  The maximum number of examinees admitted is 40 ( forty ), and will be considered as first come first serve basis. 

All examinees needs to submit the NDIO Application for attending the Seminar and Examination with the attested copies of Certificates etc. during the accreditation of 26th August 2023. Please send the List of NDIO Examinees to the below email IDs in the attached format/entry form by 10th August 2023:
