Indian Cadet and Junior Judokas won Medals in Asian Championships

INDIAN CADET & JUNIOR JUDOKAS WON 2 SILVER and 3 BRONZE MEDALS IN THE 9th ASIAN CADET & 16th ASIAN JUNIOR JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS – 2015 HELD AT BANGKOK

32 member Indian Judo Team  consisting of 6 boys & 7 girls Cadets and 6 men & 8 women Junior Judokas participated in the for the 9th Asian Cadet Judo Championships held from 9th  to 12th October 2015 at Bangkok, Thailand. Mr. Ajay Vats, Mr. Mahipal Grewal, Mr. Surjit Singh Metei, Ms. Ritu accompanies as Coaches, Mr. J.R. Rajesh as Referee and Mr. A. Sree Kumar accompanied as Manager of Indian Judo Team.

Indian Cadets Mr. Sachin Singh Rawat ( -50Kg. ) and Ms. Pinki Balhara ( -52Kg. ) won Silver Medals and Mr. Gaurav Awasthi ( -55Kg. ) and Ms. Yamini Mourya ( -57Kg. ) are won Bronze Medal in the 9th Asian Cadet Judo Championships.

In the Junior Asian Championships Ms. LIKMABAM Shushila Devi ( -48 Kg. ) won Bronze medal. Since the this event also the World ranking events of  International Judo Federation Championships and Official event of Judo Union of Asia, competitions goes very high and giving tuff to won a medal. As Ms. Shushil Devi is the Silver medalist of last Commonwealth Games 2014 Glasgow.

In the last Asian Cadet & Junior Championships 2014 held at Hong Kong, Indian Cadets won 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 5 Bronze and in the Junior 3 Bronze medals.

The next main target of the Indian Cadet and Junior Teams will be the Commonwealth Judo Championships 2016, in April.
