PERFORMANCE OF INDIAN CADET & JUNIOR JUDO TEAM IN ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS – LEBANON

40 members Indian Judo Team participated in the 12th Asian Cadet Judo Championships & 19th Asian Junior Judo Championships - 2018 at Lebanon held from 10th to 13th May 2018 ( Indian Team consisted Cadet - 8 Boys, 8 Girls Judokas and 3 Coaches and in Junior Team -  8 Men, 8 Women Judokas and 4 and 1 Referee)

Performance in 12th Asian Cadet Judo Championships – 2018, Lebanon

Indian Cadet Judokas Team has won 2 Gold and 1 Bronze Medals in the `12th Asian Cadet Judo Championships – 2018’  held on 10th and 11th May 2018 at Lebanon.

The medal winners are :

1.    Ms. Rohini Sambhaji Mohite  : Ms. Rohini S. Mohite of Maharashtra won Gold medal in the  40kg weight category.

2.  Ms. Tababi Devi Thanjam of Manipur won Gold medal in the 44kg Weight category. She is also the Gold medalist of the 11th Asian Cadet Judo Championships held in 2017 at Kyrgyzstan.

3. Mr. Harish : Mr. Harish of Haryana state won Bronze medal in the 50kg weight category. 

Performance in the 19th Asian Junior Judo Championships held on 12th and 13th May 2018 at Lebanon.

 

The medal winners are :

 

1]       Ms. Pincky Balhara won Gold medal in below 52Kg. weight category. She is the    current National Champion of the Junior National Judo C’ships held in March 2018 in  Jalandhar. She also won Bronze medal in the 18th Asian Junior Judo Championships held in 2017 at Kyrgyzstan.

 

2]       Mr. Shiva Kumar won Silver medal in below 55Kg weight category. Mr. Shiva also   won Bronze medal in the Junior National Judo Championships held in March 2018.

 

3]       Mr. Mohsin Gluab Ali bagged Silver medal for India in below 60Kg weight category.       He is also Bronze medallist of the Senior National Judo C’ships held in March 2018 in   Jammu & Kashmir.

 

4]       Ms. Krishna Faujdar won Bronze medal in below 44Kg weight category. Current   National Champion of the Junior National Judo C’ships held in March 2018 in Jalandhar, Ms. Krishna also won Bronze medal in the 10th Asian Cadet Judo Championships held in 2016 in Kerala, India.

 

5]       Ms. Tulika Maan won Bronze medal in the above 78kg weight category.  Ms. Tulika is current National Champion of her weight category of the Junior National as well as of the Senior National held in March 2018 in Jalandhar and Jammu & Kashmir respectively. She also won Bronze medal in the last Asian Junior Judo Championships held in 2017 at Kyrgyzstan and Gold medallist of the South Asian Judo Championships held in Nepal in April 2018.

 

6]       Mr. Harshdeep singh Brar bagged Bronze medal in the below 81kg weight category.  Mr. Harshdeep is also current National Champion of Junior National Judo Championships held in March 2018.
