Dear Friends,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome all the  Judo players, Officials and Judo lovers to the official website of the Judo Federation of India ( JFI ). This site will serve as a great support for the Indian Judokas and Officials to make them aware of the Judo news and JFI activities / Judo calendar.

While accepting the responsibility of the Judo Federation of India, the following objectives were in my mind.

• To broad-base and popularize the game of JUDO in India as well as in the World
• To upgrade the standard of Indian Judo Players, so that they can won more medals in International Judo events.
• To strengthen the concept of friendship, mutual understanding and welfare among nations, through Judo.

On its part, the JFI has lived upto the commitment, and successfull in the development of Judo in India. The officials involved with JFI has worked hard and put great efforts to promote Judo movement in India since 1965, which is an important factor in the campaign to strengthen mutual understanding among States and Nations.

I sincerely believe that in the coming future we will have a strong Judo family and will work more hard for uplifting the Judo standard and for the betterment of Judo in India.
