Sub. : OPEN SELECTION TRIALS FOR SELECTING PROBABLE FOR ASIAN GAMES 2022 & TEAMS FOR OTHER INTERNATIONAL EVENTS.

Sir/Madam,

I would like to inform you that the URGENCY in submitting the details of the Probable of Indian Judo Teams for the 2022 Asian Games before 1st May 2022, JFI forced to conduct the Open Selection Trials for selecting the above probable with short notice.

 

The Open Selection Trials will be held as per the below schedule:

23rd April 2022 Accreditation, Draws, Weigh-in for all 7 Women Categories

24th April 2022 Competitions of all 7 weight categories of Women

24th April 2022 Accreditation, Draws, Weigh-in for all 7 Men Categories

25th April 2022 Competitions of all 7 weight categories of Men

The JFI Selection Committee will select probable for the forthcoming Asian Games 2022 from this OpenTrials only. The FINAL SELECTION OF INDIAN JUDO TEAMS WILL BE FROM THESE PROBABLES.

Therefore, all the players / athletes requested to attend this Open selection trials without fail. 

 

The following criteria will be applicable for selecting the probable, subject to the final decision of the JFI Selection Committee:

1] All the players who will place till 7th in each category will be considered in the probable list

2] Must have a valid Passport minimum till April 2023

3] Must pass the Medical & Fitness Test to be conducted by the JFI

4] Final selection of Indian Judo Teams for the Asian Games 2022 from this probable by conducting trials between the probable.

5] Decision of the Selection Committee will be treated as Final.

In view of the above it is very important for all the players make sure their valid Passport for considering the selection process and submit the following documents during the accreditation:

1] Copy of Passport
2] Copy of Aadhar Card
3] Photographs - 4 Nos. (Passport Size - with white back-ground and 70% close-up )
