Sir/Madam,

I am directed by the Hon'ble Administrator JFI to inform that JFI is conducting Selection trials among the probable on 9th and 10th August 2025 at SAI NCOE, Bhadbhada Road, near Sai Stadium, Gora Gaon, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh 462044, for selecting the Indian Judo Teams for the 3rd Asian Youth Games-2025-Bahrain. The List of probable are attached.

The Judo competition of the 3rd Asian Youth Games is scheduled to be held on 29th and 30th October 2025 at Bahrain and Age Category and eligibility criteria for the Games are as under :

A.     The Judo competition of the 3rd youth Asian Games of 14 events, including eight (8) men’s events,  
        eight (8) women’s events as follows:
         Men’s Events (7) :-50kg, -55kg, -60kg, -66kg, -73kg, - 81kg, -90kg, +90Kg.
      Women’s Events (7) :-40kg, -44kg, -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, -70kg, +70Kg 

However only 7 weights in Boys and 7 weights in Girls are allowed to participate in the Games.

B.   Athletes participating in the Judo competition must be between 14 and 17 years i.e.  must be born 14 November 2008 and 31 October 2011 (inclusive).

C. Must have a Passport with minimum validity till 1st May 2026.

D. Deadline for submitted details of probable was 25th June 2025 by IOA.

Accordingly, as per the recommendations of the JFI Advisory and Expert's Committee, JFI submitted a probable list (attached) of the medal winners of the Sub Junior National and Cadet National held in January 2025 in Pune those who are falling with the above eligibility.

Since the IOA given the deadline for submitting Final Entry is 10th August 2025, JFI is fixed to conduct the Final Selection of the Indian Judo Team for the 3rd Asian Youth Games 2025 on 9th and 10th August 2025 in conjunction with Open Selection Trials of the Cadets at SAI Bhopal.

All the probable are requested to report at SAI Bhopal on 9th August 2025 before noon for the accreditation and weigh-in, and the Competitions/Trials will be conducted on 10th August 2025. It is mandatory that all the probable must bring the Original Passport ( with min validity May 2026 ) and the Age Proof as mentioned below:

 

AGE PROOF:  The following Three (3) Original documents must be brought with the team for acceptance as proof of age :-

 

a]            Original Birth Certificate issued by the local Municipal Corporation/Panchayat Board or equivalent government authority/chief medical officer who is a competent authority. The DOB Certificate must be issued a minimum of THREE ( 3 ) years before.

                b]             Original Certificate issued by the Principal/Headmaster of the School, mentioning Date of Birth, Father’s Name and Class, where the boy/girl is studying, on official letter head of the School, with Photograph of the student and Affiliation Number issued by State Board/CBSE/Education Deptt., with place of issue, duly attested. The proper address, telephone nos., fax number email Id of the School must be mentioned, in the letterhead.

c]             JFI ID Card / Original Aadhar Card / Passport issued by the Government of India. 

                                Copies of the above documents must be attached with the Individual Entry Form.

 It is also required to submit the attached Medical Declaration Form signed by the Parent during the accreditation. A medical Guidelines is also enclosed for your information please.
