Ms. MONJAM KABITA DEVI bags BRONZE MEDAL in the 2nd ASIAN YOUTH GAMES - 2013 NANJING, CHINA

Eight member Indian Youth Judo Team ( 3 Boys and 3 Girls and 2 Coaches ) participated in the 2nd Asian Youth Games 2013 held from 14th to 19th August 2013 at Nanjing, China.

Ms. MONJAM KABITA DEVI ( Manipur )  won BRONZE MEDAL in below 44 Kg. weight category, of the Judo Events of 2nd ASIAN YOUTH GAMES - 2013 held at NANJING, CHINA.

This is the second International medal of Ms. Kabita, as she had also won Silver medal in the 4th Asian Youth Judo Championships held in Bangkok in 2010.  Ms. Kabita Devi is the National Champion in her below 44Kg. weight category since 2009. She won gold medal in  Sub-Junior National 2008-09, at Uttarakhand, 2009-10 at M.P. and gold medal in the Junior National 2011-12 at Agra, U.P.
