Judo Education Journey

Dear Friends,

Judo Federation of India (JFI), in association with the International Judo Federation (IJF) is organizing a Judo Training program “Judo Educational Journey Through India” from 1st to 11th October 2016, in various cities of India.

This is a very prestigious project of the IJF, involving maximum number of Judo Players of  the country and to promote Judo values.  In the past, such program was organized in China, Canada, Oceania and Australia, and now the ‘IJF Judo Educational Journey’ is coming to India.

The purpose to organise the program is to increase the playing population of Judo, Identify young talents, to help the local Judo clubs and coaches to develop Judo at grassroot level. The Program will consist of Judo Demonstrations, Presentations, training, Conferences, and Interaction with the young Children to teach them values of Judo.

An Expert Judo Team/Delegation from the International Judo Federation is coming to India for organizing the above program. Mr. NICOLAS MESSNER, Media & Communication Director of the International Judo Federation, will be the IJF Expert for above program, alongwith Mr. MIKLOS UNGVARI, Silver medallist (from Hungary) of 2012 London Olympic Games,  International Judo Players from India, and Indian Judo  Coaches will also be part of the delegation to visit various Indian cities.  The Judo delegation will visit Judo clubs in Agra, Haridwar, Dehradun, Jallandhar, Gurdaspur, Narnual, Rohtak, Sonipat and Delhi, during the program.
