Sub.: National Judo Championships 2025-26 and Eligibility/Age Limit

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am directed by the Hon’ble Administrator JFI to inform you that as resolved in the General Body Meeting held on 27th February 2025, the following National Judo Championships 2025-26 will be held as per the below schedule:

Khudiram Indoor Stadium, Kolkata, West Bengal

Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium, Imphal Manipur


The Dates and Venue are confirmed by the respective State Judo Association i.e. Bihar, U.P., West Bengal and Manipur.

Eligiblity/Age Limit for the above National Judo Championships are as under:

CONTESTANTS AGE ( Calendar year – January ~ December ):

 

Sub-Junior National – 2025-26

Athletes - Boys and Girls Above 12 Years and below 15 Years (must be born between 2011, 2012 and 2013) 

 

National Cadets – 2025-26

Athletes - Boys and Girls above 15 years and under 18 years ( must be born   between 2008, 2009 and 2010 ) 

 

Junior National – 2025-26

Athletes - Men & Women  must be 15 years old or above and under 21 years :    

( must be born in year 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 ) 

 

Senior National – 2025-26

Athletes Mne & women must be born in 2010 or before  ( Above 15 YEARS IN CALENDAR YEAR ). 

It is mandatory that all the athletes and officials must be registered with JFI https://jfiregistration.in/ before the deadline of the final entries of the above National Judo Championships.
