SELECTION CRITERIA FOR SELECTING INDIAN JUNIOR JUDO TEAM FOR THE WORULD JUNIOR JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS – 2025 ( from 5th to 7th October 2025 at Lima, Peru ):

The following are the Selection Criteria for the selection of Indian Judo Team for the Junior World Judo Championships – 2025 Peru:

1] The athlete must be the winner/runner up of the last Junior National Judo Championships 2024-25, and in addition that:

2] The athlete must be a medalist or 5th place (if has given good performance against strong opponent in the Asian championships 2025)

OR

3] Athlete having World Ranking – Junior 50th rank or below till date of finalizing names.

OR

4]  Athlete must be a Medalist of continental opens (held after junior national- till date) where minimum 8 contestants have participated.

5] Final selection will be as per the decision of JFI Advisory and Expert’s Committee with the approval of the Hon’ble Administrator JFI.
