4 Judokas Mr. Vijay, Mr. Avtar, Ms. Kalpana and Ms. Tulika selected under the Target Olympic Podium (TOP) Scheme.

18 member Indian Junior Judo Team ( 8 boys + 8 girls + 2 coaches ) participated in the 18th Asian Junior Judo Championships at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on 15th & 16th July 2017 . Indian Girls shown excellent performance in this Asian Championships and won 3 Bronze medals.

Ms.THANGJAM Tababi Devi of Manipur won the GOLD medal in the 11th Asian Cadet Judo Championship at Kyrgyzstan

JFI is holding an Open Selection Trials for Junior & Cadet Boys and Girls from 7th to 10th June 2017 at Sports Authority of India, Aurangabad, Maharashtra

11th and 12th JFI Training Centers will be opening at Guwahati and Aizawl on 30th April and 3rd May 2017
